“Travel isn’t always pretty. It isn’t always comfortable. Sometimes it hurts, it even breaks your heart. But that’s okay. The journey changes you; it should change you. It leaves marks on your memory, on your consciousness, on your heart, and on your body. You take something with you. Hopefully, you leave something good behind.”
Anthony Bourdain
I have learned so much while traveling around the world. I absolutely love connecting with people from diverse backgrounds, cultures and experiences. I have worked hard to be able to afford to travel and I do not regret spending one nickel! An education that can not be learned in any classroom. I am proud to say that I have traveled extensively around my home country, Canada, as well. Attached below is a very brief video of some of my travel photos – one per country. I will always be interested in continuing my education, personally and professionally, throughout the course of my life. Traveling the world has educated me in so many ways that no textbook could ever do alone. I used to dream of photographing a safari in Africa, stepping foot in the Amazon River, swimming above Victoria Falls in Zambia, and island-hopping in Greece (to list a few things). Dreams, and goals, do come true!
